Designer Wines by Jorge Alberto Rubio are produced with fruit of the arid South Atuel Valley, located in the Department of General Alvear, Southeast of the Province of Mendoza, Argentina.

The weather is mild to semi-arid, cool and with high thermal amplitude that makes it possible to grow grapes of excellent color and ripeness.

This is one of the least environmentally polluted regions of Argentina. In general, pesticides and herbicides are not used and grapevines need to be cured only once a year.
